We are approaching the time of year when, with the clocks going back, there is often a rise in the number of accidents on local roads.
The Somerset Road Safety Partnership is running a campaign this autumn to remind pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders, of the need to wear something bright to ensure they can be seen at night.
The Somerset Road Safety Partnership is giving away 50 fluorescent rucksack covers to each of the districts within Somerset County, which will help ensure your safety on the roads on dark evenings.
All you have to do to get one of the free rucksack covers is to answer the following question:
What should you wear to make sure you are seen when walking or riding at night?
A. Fluorescent/reflective material
B. Light blue or green material
C. Dark clothing
Please phone your answer – with the letter A, B or C - to:
0844 980 0028
The first 50 correct answers will receive a free rucksack cover.
